Challenge

Full-estate transition to chemical-free management. Biological prevention and control required for gray mold, anthracnose, red spider mite, and aphids throughout the season.

Anthracnose and leaf blight outbreak. Side-by-side trial: conventional pesticide/hormone treatment vs. Yuanmeng biological method, commenced November 14, 2023.

Full pesticide elimination. No conventional fungicide, insecticide, or hormone applications used. Biological management programme throughout growing season.

Outcome

Premium-grade fruit achieved across the full estate without any synthetic pesticide or growth hormone. Full protocol compliance maintained over multiple seasons.

Day 17 — Conventional: complete crop loss, greenhouse cleared. Yuanmeng: full recovery, peak fruiting. Additional income: approx. RMB 15,000/month vs. conventional outcome.

Yield maintained. Quality improvements across all parameters: taste, colour, Brix (sugar), and post-harvest shelf life. Farmer income increased substantially year-on-year.

Dahu Manor implemented the Yuanmeng microbial agricultural method across its entire 3,000 mu (200 ha) estate over multiple growing seasons. The full protocol was followed without the use of any synthetic pesticides or growth hormones. Biological prevention and control was applied for gray mold, anthracnose, red spider mite, and aphids throughout each season.

Result: The estate consistently produced premium-grade fruit fully chemical-free, achieving quality benchmarks suitable for premium market positioning.

Case Study 2: Greenhouse Tomato, Donggang, Liaoning — Head-to-Head Trial

A controlled comparison was conducted in side-by-side greenhouses facing an acute anthracnose and leaf blight outbreak. Both treatment programmes commenced on November 14, 2023. Results were assessed on Day 17.

CONVENTIONAL TREATMENT

YUANMENG BIOLOGICAL METHOD

Day 17 — Foliage completely dead. Crop cleared and replanted.

Day 17 — Full recovery. Peak fruiting sustained for a further 2.5 months.

The Yuanmeng greenhouse entered peak fruiting immediately after recovery. Weekly yield reached 3,500–4,000 jin per mu (approx. 2.6–3.0 t/ha per week), sustained over 2.5 months. At the prevailing price of RMB 1.3/jin, the farmer realised approximately RMB 15,000/month additional income versus the conventional outcome.

Case Study 3: Jianjie Strawberry Farm, Laiyang, Shandong

Jianjie Farm adopted the Yuanmeng biological management system and eliminated all conventional pesticide treatment. The result was not only sustained yield levels but measurable improvement across every quality metric: taste, colour, sugar content (Brix), and post-harvest shelf life. Farmer income increased substantially.
